It was great to have an event back at Ho’okipa again after all these years. I had a bad single elimination and then a great run through the double. I won several very hard heats but finally came unstuck against Josh Angulo and Marcilio Browne to finish 8th in the event.
Still, it was a good end to the season for me after my ankle injury and gives me motivation for next year.
